Управляемый WordPress Справка

Make final edits

Warning: The remaining parts in this series require a hosting account with a fresh installation of WordPress.
Required: You'll need a text editor to make the necessary changes in this file. There are many third party text editors available, however we discourage the use of MS Word for editing this plain text file. We recommend an editor like Notepad++.

There are changes that need to be made in the configuration file wp-config.php before your site will work in its new hosting location. You'll need to update the table prefix to the randomixed one Managed WordPress used in your database.

  1. Connect to your new site through FTP using the same method from Part 3 (either a filemanager or an FTP client like Filezilla).
  2. Locate the wp-config.php file and edit it using the same method used from Part 4.
  3. Update the table_prefix, you should have made note of this prefix after importing the SQL database file in Part 5 (e.g. if your prefix was wp_kmf7d807b9_ add: kmf7d807b9_ to wp_).
    $table_prefix  = 'wp_';
  4. Once you're done making changes, save the file.
  5. Test your site to see if it's working properly.
